BREAKING NEWS: America Has Just Decriminalized ALL DRUGS!

History has been made!
HUGE NEWS FROM AMERICA. With the decriminalization of ALL DRUGS, all non-violent drug offenders will be released from prison, leaving plenty of space for the real criminals... This will in turn save billions on housing drug users that don't need to be locked away, but instead just need therapy, hope, and love. Locking people away for what they choose to put in their bodies is a crime against humanity. As long as you aren't harming someone else, I don't see why it's anyone else's business. Am I right? Not to mention the fact that the United States has the highest prison population in the world, even beating china with nearly 4 times the amount of people.

Something is clearly wrong, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. The prison system is a PRIVATE for profit system, not designed to rehabilitate, but to profit off desperate people. The way I see it, only violent criminals should be locked up for "rehabilitation" and even then they still need therapy. It's not natural to hate or be violent, it's clearly a lack of education, opportunity, and love.

But more back to the point of this story and that is, ALL DRUGS ARE NOW DECRIMINALIZED IN AMERICA!!! Just joking, APRIL FOOLS. Sorry to get your hopes up, but I'm sure by now you get the point of this article. Not only is it a clever way to get your attention to raise awareness, but it's also a tasteful April fools prank. Hopefully this article will be true one day soon, just like Portugal did and dramatically lowered their crime rate/ incarceration rate. All it takes is a simple look at how they run things, and even a few other cities around the world to see that locking people up for what they choose to do with their own bodies isn't helping anyone but a small handful of bankers and profiteers.

Many are against this whole idea because they feel like the world would get all chaotic and they couldn't continue their lives as normal, but the truth is much more simple. The people that want to do drugs are already doing them, and no law has or ever will stop them. I've never heard anyone say, "nah dude, I'm not going to do drugs, because they are illegal..." They usually choose to not do them because of the health implications or they don't enjoy them. Don't lie, we've all tried at least one illegal drug in our lifetime and you would be a liar if you denied it.

I say each to their own, decriminalize drugs and let people get on with their lives without the threat of imprisonment for exploring their minds. What a crazy time to be alive. The fluoride is obviously working on many of you, because no matter what is said or how many countries decriminalize drugs with extremely positive results, there will still be tons of people out there thinking it will bring Satan to Earth to feast on our souls. I prefer a more logical approach. I know that laws never stopped anyone from taking drugs, and I also know how many lives have been completely ruined for simply experimenting with their own minds.

We live in truly shameful days when a person is restricted from nature, especially cannabis, with it's thousands of uses and healing properties. I'm glad that at least medical cannabis is slowing making it's way towards full legalization. It does give me some hope for humanity. If you're one of the ones that pushed for it being legal I applaud your efforts and encourage you to continue to fight for what you believe in. We hope we haven't offended to many people with this misleading title, but if we're going to do it, today is most certainly the right day. Feel free to copy and paste this to your blog or website if you own one. It would be a great service to humanity to start walking down this path together.

The USA Targets Anti-Capitalist Bolivian President In A Secret Drugs Sting

Evo Morales has been very successful at combatting the drugs trade through peaceful means...but the USA doesn't like it when Latin American Presidents don't do as they are told

Earlier this month, the Huffington Post reported on claims that the U.S. government has secretly targeted Bolivian President Evo Morales with a drug sting code-named ‘Operation Naked King’. It confirmed the socialist President’s suspicion that the USA is trying to undermine his government for refusing to play their game.

The department in question is the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, or DEA, which Morales expelled from his country in 2008. He accused them of bribing police officers, violating human rights, covering up murders and destroying infrastructure. Morales had a different approach to drug trafficking: persuade coca farmers to plant new crops, work in co-operation with them, and promote alternative development. Speaking at last week’s United Nations meeting, Morales pointed out his way of doing things hasn’t spilled one drop of blood, and furthermore his policy is working: cocoa leaf production in Bolivia has fallen to a 13-year low.

Despite that victory, the DEA announced this week plans to officially ‘decertify’ Bolivia- that’s official language for ‘Do as we say or we’ll punish you financially.’ Like Uruguay’s President Jose Mujica, Evo Morales is an outspoken critic of Capitalism and U.S imperialism in its foreign policy. An indigenous man, he wants to protect the environment, stop invading other countries for oil, and fight for social justice and global equality. It’s no wonder the White House hates him.

200+ DEA Agents Use Drugs, Steal Guns, Drive Drunk & Keep Jobs

The agency that enforces federal government’s war on drugs is full of hypocrisy, and the bosses don’t care.

Recent media investigations have found that Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) employees have used drugs, distributed drugs, lied to authorities and committed other serious offenses such as “improper association with a criminal element.”

What’s shocking is that the vast majority of these people have not been fired or even seriously reprimanded, let alone faced criminal charges like normal citizens would.

“The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has allowed its employees to stay on the job despite internal investigations that found they had distributed drugs, lied to the authorities or committed other serious misconduct, newly disclosed records show.

The DEA’s internal affairs log shows investigators review more than 200 cases each year and often clear the agents involved. When they do find wrongdoing, the most common outcome is either a letter of caution — the lightest form of discipline the agency can impose — or a brief unpaid suspension.
In fewer than 6% of those cases did DEA managers recommend firing. In some of those cases, the agency allowed employees to quit. More often, it settled on a lesser punishment.”

Of the 50 who were recommended to be fired by the Board of Professional Conduct over the five-year period, only 13 actually got fired. Some went back on the job after a federal appeals board intervened.

A follow-up look at the new documents, conducted by the Huffington Post, revealed that numerous employees have failed drug tests, only to receive minor reprimands such as short suspensions. No one was fired, despite policy that states drug users will not be considered for employment.

The list of bad behavior continues.

“Indeed, a closer look at the internal log turns up numerous examples of disturbing behavior being punished with suspensions of a few days, at most. From 2010 through 2015, HuffPost found 62 instances of an employee losing or stealing a firearm; more than 30 violations for driving while intoxicated, including four while driving a government-owned vehicle and one that involved a hit-and-run; two occasions in which employees deprived individuals of their civil rights; nine instances of employees losing or stealing drug evidence; 10 cases in which agents lost or stole a defendant’s property; four violations for committing fraud against the government, two of which were punished by a letter of caution; and two more general violations of DEA policy on drug use. The DEA didn’t fire anyone as a direct result of these actions.”

These revelations come on top of scandals and human rights abuses uncovered in spring.

Daniel Chong was left handcuffed in a holding cell for five days with no food and water, yet the six DEA agents involved received only brief suspensions or letters of reprimand.

When the inspector general found that agents had attended cartel-funded sex parties with prostitutes while stationed in Colombia, then-administrator Michele Leonhart said federal law doesn’t allow her to fire the employees.

“There is a culture of protection internally that has to change. If there’s a bad apple, they need to be fired, if not prosecuted, and that’s just not happening,” said Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.”
The inspector general in the Justice Department pointed out years ago that the DEA’s disciplinary process was extremely lax. But it takes public embarrassment to make anything happen in government accountability, or appear to happen.

The internal ethics watchdog is still undergoing a “systematic review” of DEA’s disciplinary process, according to a spokesman. By the time that is done, the agency will have a new list of crimes and misconduct to hand over.

What a profound irony that we have a government continuing to throw people in cages for possessing or trafficking certain psychoactive substances, while their own go unpunished for the very same behaviors and worse. Even the most loyal supporter of prohibition must find this moral crusade a sham.

Chart Comparing Global Drug Prices Exposes How US Govt Creates Mega Profits for Big Pharma

Every chance they get government and corporations are taking advantage of us. This chart is insane!

 By Jay Syrmopoulos
 via The Free Thought Project

After Martin Shkreli raised the price of Daraprim, which costs one dollar to produce, from $13.50 per pill to $750 per pill, the public and media roundly panned the Turing Pharmaceuticals CEO for gouging patients in need of life-saving medicine.

While Shkreli’s move may have been extremely ostentatious, and drawn the public’s attention, the issue of overpriced drugs in America is one that is not confined to Shkreli and Turing Pharmaceuticals.

Drug prices in the U.S. have been skyrocketing for years. The latest data indicates that drug prices in the United States are often up to 10 times more expensive than in almost all other developed countries.

While some contend that this is a problem with the market itself, they are incorrect. It’s the government, not the market that is to blame for this situation.

The main reason why this situation exists is because of patents and intellectual property rights, a government granted monopoly privilege that has allowed these companies to claim a monopoly over a recipe for a particular medication.

In a truly free market someone like him may be able to develop a product and gouge the price, but his competitors would be free to reverse engineer and replicate that product, and offer it for a lower price.

Currently, the government is standing in the way of that happening, not just in the pharmaceutical industry, but across the economy as a whole. Often those who benefit most from the privilege of monopoly are individuals who are capable of buying the rights to a product, essentially forcing those with less resources out of the marketplace.

While Shkreli and Turing Pharmaceutical caved to public pressure and have stated that they will lower the price of Daraprim, the overall problem continues unabated. It’s important to point out that even in this controlled economic environment, it was not rules and regulations that ultimately forced him to lower the price again. It was public pressure and the threat of boycott, both of which are entirely acceptable in a free market scenario.

The reality is that Americans are being price gouged for healthcare compared to the rest of the industrialized world. The reason for the exponentially high price of healthcare in the U.S. has little to do with capitalism and free markets, and everything to do with government interference in the marketplace.
