In San Francisco State University, a bizarre exchange between two students took place that was captured on film and is now going viral across the internet.
The video shows a black female student harassing a white male student, simply because he has dreadlocks.
The (as of now) unidentified woman confronts student Cory Goldstein, a local DJ, who seems to be minding his own business in the campus hallway. The woman tells Goldstein that he is appropriating her culture, and therefore disrespecting it. Throughout the entire exchange, the woman was clearly hostile and her intention was to harass the young man.
Goldstein kept his composure nonetheless.
When he tries to walk away from her though, the young woman actually pushes him back and then, on his second attempt to escape her irrationality, grabs him by the arm and pulls him back while uttering "you put your hands on me you gonna learn...". Clearly, this woman is very confused since she is the one putting her hands on Goldstein and not allowing him to leave.
You can see the video below;
Aside from the obvious injustice committed against Goldstein, the video is going viral presumably because it inspires much needed discussion and debate about a a number of sensitive issues that have often been swept under the rug. One such issue, is prejudice against white people. In my opinion, this event embodies this issue fairly well, although it could be contested in extreme cases of bias. Another sensitive issue, is if the shoe were on the other foot, and a man were harassing a woman in this manner, there would be absolute outrage and assault charges would definitely of been lain. Double standards come in many forms.
In the midst of the discussion though, it is very important to express the logical opinion that this woman is just an ignorant unpleasant human being, which is not based on skin color, it is based on behavior. She is a victim of the divide and conquer social conditioning and television programming, that does not target one gender or one race, as popular opinion would believe. It targets all of us, regardless of what color your skin is, because keeping us divided makes all of us much easier to control.
So her behavior is not about skin color, it is about ignorance and stupidity. She is no more representative of the black race, than a a member of the KKK is the white race.
Now that the obvious has been explained, incidents like these should never serve to create more division between us, as the mainstream media will try its best to do, but they should serve to promote unity in condemning behaviors that we as a collective society no longer find to be acceptable. This woman is young, brainwashed, ignorant and immature, she needs to be properly educated and informed, as is evidenced by her counter productive protest.
This is merely a symptom of a much deeper root cause, and unless we — as a collective HUMAN RACE — address the deeper root cause, we will continue to deal with racism, intolerance and bigotry.
The so called elite want us to be fighting each other, to blame each other for our pain and anger, and to forget that they are manipulating and exploiting us all in the background. Don't fall for the divide and conquer tactics, or be moved to intolerance by those who have been brainwashed to be intolerant by the system. Our strength lies in standing together.
