This Is What Happens If You Eat Ripe Bananas


Eating a ripe banana with dark spots brings a lot more benefits than you would imagine.
 

 
Bananas have long been praised for their numerous health benefits which include lowering blood pressure, lessening the risk of asthma, combating cancer and diabetes, improving heart health, and memory, amongst other  things. 

What few people realize, however, is that the maturity level of these fruits plays a significant role in their overall effectiveness in regards to health.

A study exploring this was conducted by Japanese scientists in 2009, demonstrating that ripe bananas produce a substance called TNF (Tumor Necrosis Factor) which has the ability to fight against cells that behave abnormally.
 
A banana begins to ripen when it turns yellow and then furthermore as parts of its skin darkens as shown in the picture above. As a banana ripens and turns yellow, its levels of antioxidants increase which serve to protect your body against cancer and other diseases.
