Directions:

Mix all ingredients together and put in a big glass jar. A mason jar with a shaker top lid works best but you can just stab some holes in the top to make your own.
Apply from head to toe on your pet in dry conditions. Help it reach the skin by brushing your pets fur going the opposite direction. Make sure to avoid the eyes and nose. Make sure to do a thorough job.

When to apply the flea powder:

To use this as a general repellent (no major infestation) apply once a month during flea season. If the pet takes a bath or gets wet, it will need to be reapplied.

Have a flea infestation?

You might need to apply more often, depending on how bad the  infestation is. Apply every other day until you see results. Some are successful with only applying once a week, but others will need it more often. Also remember to reapply if your pet gets wet.
If you have a flea infestation, you might want to apply this flea powder to your floors, windowsills, door sills, pet bedding, sofa, etc. It's best to focus your efforts on where your pet spends the most time, since fleas and their eggs will be the most concentrated in those areas. Apply a light dusting to the areas in your house that need attention and leave it overnight. Vacuum it up in the morning or sometime the next day. This should be done once a week for 4 weeks if you have a flea infestation.

You can even use this flea powder it in the yard to repel fleas, ticks, spiders, ants, mosquitos, and more...
