RECALL ALERT: You won't believe what they found in millions of dinners...
Have you chowed down on a frozen pizza or TV dinner recently and noticed a little more “crunch” than you were expecting? You may have unwittingly ingested tiny glass shards that somehow made it into product packaging during processing.
That’s right. Global food giant Nestle has issued a massive recall
on several of its most popular frozen food products, after the issue
came to the company’s attention. Included in the 3 million products recalled
are four different types of DiGiorno frozen pizzas, five varieties of
Lean Cuisine dinners and five types of Stouffer’s frozen dinners.
Nestle is claiming that its voluntary recall is “limited.” But
millions of product units are part of the recall, according to the
company, including the following products with specific production
codes, UPCs and “Best Before” Dates:
