Don't miss this!
If you’re in the East (Asia and the Pacific) of the world, next week you might bear witness to a very rare and beautiful solar eclipse!
The event is set to occur some time between 11:19 p.m. GMT on March 8th and 1:59 a.m. GMT on March 9th.
In regions where the total eclipse will manifest, complete darkness will result for about four minutes.
This video from NASA will elaborate more. Check it out;
Solar eclipses happen on the rare occasion when the Moon comes in between the Earth and the Sun, which culminates in temporarily blocking out the sunlight.
The last total solar eclipse visible from the United States was more than 30 years ago in 1979. This demonstrates how rare this event actually is.
For those who will not be lucky enough to be in Indonesia, a livestream of the event will be available on the Slooh website.
