Home made heated rice packs are going viral on the internet these days because they are so easy to make and are far more cost efficient. Although much cheaper than taking the traditional route, they still work brilliantly and are far more convenient as a result.
These heated packs can be used for overcoming, or managing, a number of unwanted aches and pains in our body, whilst promoting comfort and an overall sense of wellbeing, both physically and psychologically.

Supplies
- Use a long sock, or pillow (cut the pillow in half unless you want to use the whole thing)
- Fill it with rice (no minute made rice).
- Close the opening end by sewing it, or through other means such as using a clothes peg or an elastic (nothing metal since it will go in the microwave).
- Heat for a few minutes (or less) in the microwave, depending on how powerful your microwave is. Make sure you supervise while heating to not overdo it or create a hazardous situation.
