Lately, the term detox has been used for almost everything.
You can detox your mouth, detox your liver, foods to detox your body and so on.
I’ve written on almost every detox practice there is, and today, I want to share with you some simple, delicious and tasty detox drinks for weight loss that will help you shed pounds as easy as it can be.
Before I share you the drinks, I feel obligated to explain what detox actually is.
With our diet and all “thanks” to the processed food we eat on a daily basis, we consume lots of toxins.
These toxins accumulate in our body, and they are doing enormous harm to our body.
One of the reasons why we accumulate body fat around the belly is toxins. So, by removing (detox) these toxins, we are losing weight.
With that being said, let’s take a look at some of these detox drinks for weight loss.
Pomegranate, Lemon, and Pineapple
Pomegranates have been gaining popularity recently to a level few people could anticipate.
So, why not capitalize on the trend?
Toss in some lemon and pineapple, and you’ve got yourself a great detox drink for weight loss.
If you didn’t know it, pomegranate contains, even more, antioxidants than green tea, making it extremely beneficial for you.
The lemon is there to balance the sweetness of the pineapple and the pomegranate.

Green Juice
I will share several “green” detox drinks for weight loss with you, but let’s start from the basic one.
The idea here is that you get all the beneficial nutrients from your green veggies, without eating them.
You want cucumber, collards, and spinach, some of the best greens in there to help you hydrate and boost your metabolism.
Remember, cucumber is rich with water, so you probably do not need much water here.
Toss in lemon juice from one or two lemons just so you make it more watery.
Green Smoothie
Next on the list of green drinks is the smoothie version, where you want one cup of regular water, half a cup of coconut water, celery, lettuce, kale or spinach, one apple, one banana and a pinch of cinnamon.
You can throw in some chia seeds as well, and if the density is not right, add some more water.
You do not want a thick drink you cannot swallow.
Put all the ingredients in a blender or food processor, and enjoy the drink.
If you like to sweeten the deal, add in some stevia.
Spicy Green Juice
Told you we’ve got several green drinks, and next in line is a spicy one.
The basic ingredient is spinach again, as spinach is one of the best leafy greens for weight loss due to the high amount of protein, iron, and other nutrients.
To spice things up, we throw in some ginger for better cleansing effect, and cucumber to make it more watery.
Add in little water, but remember, spinach is the main ingredient.

Lemon Water
When it comes to detox drinks for weight loss, almost nothing beats the plain old water detox.
For the simplest and purest experience, you want one liter of filtered water, filled with slices of lemon and orange.
Toss in some mint leaves in there, and let the water soak all the nutrients over the night.
You can drink the next day.
Fruity Detox Water
The lemon water is the purest and simplest recipe, but you can always come up with another water detox drink for weight loss.
The fruity version is more of a summer cocktail drink. You need two liter of water, kiwi fruit, and strawberries.
Chop the fruits and add them to the water. Let the water soak up the nutrients in the fridge for few hours or over the night.
You can add more fruits if you like, but try to stick to some that are compatible with strawberries and kiwi.

New Year Water
Now, after the holidays, we all usually get some extra weight.
To shed those pounds, I’ve got one of the best detox drinks for weight loss for you.
As you can imagine, plain old water is the basic ingredient. You want some raspberries (frozen of course since you’ll have to pay a ton for fresh in the winter), lemons, limes, grapefruit, cucumbers, pears and some fresh mint leaves.
Let the flavors combine for one day, and then enjoy your detox drink.

Fat Burning Water
We continue the water based drinks with apple cider vinegar.
As you might know, ACV is one of the best ingredients when it comes to flushing toxins out of your body, and the more toxins you flush, the more pounds you shed.
So, mix one liter of water, two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, a teaspoon of cinnamon, one medium sliced the apple, and one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.
If the drink is too bitter for you, you can sweeten it up with some stevia or honey.

Cucumber Detox Water
Now who’s to say that you cannot boost your immune system while losing weight by drinking detox drinks.
Unlike previous water detox drinks for weight loss, this one offers some immune boosting properties as well.
With cucumber as the main ingredient and all those anti-inflammatory properties, you will stay hydrated.
Aside from cucumber, you want mint leaves and one lemon.

I call this one the gold standard for detox and weight loss drink. Why?
Because you can actually have it as a snack in between meals and it will surpass your appetite.

Rainbow Juice
When you think of the lineup you use for this drink, you think of a rainbow.
You’ve got almost all of the colors, but once you mix them, the rainbow is gone.
You need red tomatoes and peppers, carrots, yellow lemons, parsley, celery, cilantro.
The only color you miss is blue, but you are hard pressed to find it unless you consider blueberries blue.
The problem is, blueberries are not compatible with so many veggies in the mix.

You can add tangerine fruit as well.

Banana, Avocado, and Dates
This is one of my favorite drinks for breakfast, as it is more of a smoothie than a drink.
I use one banana, one tablespoon of flax seeds, one tablespoon of chia seeds, a pinch of cinnamon, half an avocado, 4 dates, half a cup of almond milk and filtered water to make it more watery.
Blend the ingredients, and drink bottoms up. You can even add some ice cubes in there.

Golden Detox Drink
I’ve written previously of turmeric, one of the healthiest superfoods you will find.
For this drink, turmeric is used to give it a spicy taste.
This detox drink for weight loss contains turmeric powder, ginger, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice.
All those spices with just the right dose of sweetness from the lemon juice will make sure that your metabolism goes to overdrive and burns as many calories as possible.

Blueberry Smoothie
Another berry smoothie, this time, we want to use a banana for more fiber and potassium.
Blueberries are considered one of the best fruits for antioxidants, and bananas make the drink thicker and more nutrient.
You do not want to crave for food after it, so the banana keeps you full.
Add in some cranberry juice for cleansing effect, and you get a nice combination of flavors. You can drink it as a morning smoothie.

Orange Juice
Trick question, can you get an orange juice without oranges? Of course, you can.
Just so you know, there are no oranges in this drink, but the color is orange.
You need one carrot, one apple, one lime, and one celery root. Blend them together and you get an orange juice.

Pineapple Spa Water
One of the simplest, but most effective detox drinks for weight loss is the pineapple water.
You need two litters of water, five pineapple chunks and two sticks of sugar cane (or some other sweetener).
Make sure to use filtered water. You can drink it instantly, or leave it to soak up all the ingredients.
The more you leave it to stay, the more tasteful it is.
Pizza Drink
I’m sure you didn’t think you can make a weight loss drink from pizza ingredients? Think again.
For this detox drink, you want tomatoes, peppers, and kale to finish it off.
You get just enough carotenoids from the peppers and lycopene from the tomatoes, resulting in a drink with a bevy of toxin-fighting assets.

The main ingredient here is flax seeds, one of the best ingredients to fight inflammation.
