So what exactly is a birth number? A birth number is calculated by the month, day and year you were born. Add all the numbers in your birth date, then add those individual numbers, then add the two digit number that remains. So for example:
March 19, 1950
3 + 19 + 1950 = 1972
1 + 9 + 7 + 2 = 19
1 + 9 = 10
1 + 0 = 1
Note: If you end up with 10 at the end, strike the 0. Your number is one.
