According to new research from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, certain cellphones may be exposing us to harmful levels of electromagnetic radiation.
According to Dr. Leigh Vinocur, previous studies on biological damage caused by cell phones only looked at the damage caused by heat, and during the study conducted by the Weizmann institute, they made sure heat would not be a factor.
What they found with this new research was that cell phones started an “enzyme change” which lead to cell division and cell growth. They are still trying to determine whether this is normal cell growth or the abnormal cell growth that you see in cancer.
Published in the Biochemical Journal, a study found that a single use of a specific cellphone for just 10 minutes can trigger brain cell changes associated with cell division that may be cancerous.
