Anti-depressants Can Raise The Risk Of Suicide, Biggest Ever Study Finds

LARGEST ANALYSIS EVER OF 70 TRIALS REVEALS THAT SSRIs
DOUBLE SUICIDE RISK - and MORE PHARMA COVERUPS

An analysis of 70 trials of the most common antidepressants - involving more than 18,000 people - found they doubled the risk of suicide and aggressive behaviour in those under 18. In addition, the review states that Antidepressants can not only double the risk of suicide, but once again, pharmaceutical companies were accused of "failing to report side-effects and even deaths linked to the drugs." It was the largest review ever.

In the largest study of its kind in history, researchers say they have found that children, teenagers and young adults have twice the risk of suicide when taking so called "anti" depressant pharmaceutical drugs.

The authors came to the conclusion that "minimal use of anti-depressants in children, adolescents, and young adults" is absolutely recommended.

The study has been published in the prestigious British Medical Journal and included over 18,526 patients and is sure to rightfully give big pharma and its business more headaches.

The researchers suggested simple alternative treatments such as exercise and psychotherapy to assist with the condition should be looked into, but consulting a professional is still recommended for obvious reasons.
