Scientist Who Discovered GMOs Cause Tumors In Rats Wins Landmark Defamation Lawsuit In Paris

Most of you have presumably heard about the controversial "Seralini study" or at least have seen the photo of the rats that were fed the GMOs and their massive turmors.

The study was published and then retracted which caused quite a stir. Not only was it suspiciously absent from mainstream media headlines, unless, of course, they were degrading it.

Professor Seralini however, has made headlines again but this time in the form of redemption, after gaining a  major court victory in a trial of defamation.  This actually marks the second court victory for Seralini’s team within a month. Not only is it massive for him, but also for organic food advocates.

Marc Fallous, France’s Biomolecular Engineering Commission, was indicted by the High Court of  Paris on November 25, for forging the signature of a scientist, without his consent, to argue that Seralini's findings were not credible and Monsanto's GM products are safe.

The first defamation case was over the French Marianne magazine that labeled the study a ‘scientific fraud’.
Seralini's original study was republished in Environmental Sciences Europe, another peer-reviewed journal.  There has even been a recent peer-reviewed letter that stated Seralini’s team may have been correct about tumors in lab rats that were fed GMOs. Monsanto's worst nightmare is coming true.

Seralini's  study was originally retracted and demonized through the mainstream media because the very wealthy Biotech industry, led by Monsanto, went after him.

The obvious question here is, if GMO's are safe then why does the biotech industry have to resort to these unethical practices? Additionally, if the mainstream media is concerned with informing the people why don't we hear about this anywhere in the news?
