This will be a reality for 10,000 families across India when Manoj Bhargava, founder of 5-Hour Energy, releases his stationary bikes in early 2016. These bicycles, when peddeled for an hour, can power a home, including standard appliances and electronics, for 24 hours.
Bhargava was featured in a recent documentary called "Billions in Change" that highlighted his Invention Shop, the place where new cutting edge technology is created by his company.
Bhargava spent years living as a monk in India after becoming bored with his life as a student at Princeton. His company has done so well that he is now focusing his billions and swath of creativity into world changing technology.
