There are several reports coming out of the Philippines that state anywhere between several hundred to several thousand students were rushed to hospitals in the Philippines this past Wednesday (July 29) after experiencing dizziness, nausea and vomiting from consuming the deworming tablets they were given by the Department of Health. There are even rumors that one child has died which authorities deny.

This has sparked major debate, outrage and skepticism amongst the people for obvious reasons.

The DOH claims that the deworming program seeks to improve performance among elementary children with their program and has been praised by the World Health Organization for the efforts. But, so far they seem to be causing more bad than good.

Below is a video (it's in Tagalog, the national language) of parents expressing their frustration over the debacle.
